p/s: After 2 well deserve break for the soulofindie team, we're finally back! Back with a treat! We're presenting you guys one really decorated artist. Here's a little intro:
At age 16, Eli Goldsmith became the youngest musician in the history of the Vans Warped Tour, playing drums in the pop punk band Slimer (Cargo Records) and touring with acts such as Eminem, Blink-182, Black Eyed Peas, Lit, Suicidal Tendencies, Pennywise, Less Than Jake, The Vandals and Ice T. However, at 18 Eli decided to exchange his drumsticks for textbooks and attend Princeton University in New Jersey, where he studied politics and was elected president of his class all four years. Although it appeared that Eli had abandoned music in favor of more scholarly pursuits, he began singing and songwriting and was subsequently invited to perform at large-scale University arts events and other local venues while his single "A Casual Thing" spread rapidly throughout east coast college campuses. At age 24, Eli now lives in Los Angeles where he continues to write, record, perform and most of all improve as an artist.
